Who are we?

How we got started?

FF was started in 2011 as a not for profit association in Asuncion, Paraguay. Members’ nationalities include Paraguay, Canada, Britain, U.S.A.. Our members all desire to help the less fortunate. FF members associate to make a difference in the world. We give our time talents and resources to effect positive social change. Who are we? Gregor Snell is F.F.’s President, a former Red Cross volunteer, carpenter, sailor and a Canadian humanist, is responsible for the health and function of FF. Dominga Garcette is FF’s Treasurer. Jong Park is FF’s Secretary. Paula Heisecke, was a previous Fe y Alegria volunteer and she also teaches the topics of Family Violence and Family Finaces for FF. Dr. Teresa Oviedo is a Child Psycologist for the Ministry of Education and she contributes in many of FF’s teaching plans. Patricia Silva has volunteered as a children’s teacher for Mandela art school and Escuela San Marco in Luque for over a decade.
